Located on a plateau halfway up Boaventura mountain, the property offers sea and mountain views in the heart of a UNESCO-protected laurel forest. Just steps away from Madeira's most beautiful levadas and hiking trails. Our home is not a hotel but a true bed and breakfast in a private home.

A new tourist tax of €2 per person per night for a maximum of 7 nights will soon be applicable, payable in cash upon arrival. We will inform you as soon as the tax is in effect.

We no longer accept children under 10 years old, our facilities are not suitable for them.

We offer two fully equipped rooms, shower, WC, 160x200 bed, courtesy tray, flat screen TV, bathrobes, hairdryer, shower soaps and shampoo, bath towels.

The rooms include a sweet and savory breakfast. From 8:30 am to 10:30 am (bread roll delivery is only guaranteed from approximately 8:00 am).

Breakfast is served at the table, and to be consumed on site (takeaway only on reservations 24 hours in advance for night departures and sunrises).(This service is offered free of charge only once per stay; please inquire about the price for any renewal of the service) and Nelson will be happy to prepare your scrambled eggs upon request.

Any special requests regarding breakfast should be communicated to us by email, including any concerns regarding allergies.

Check-in is from 2 PM onwards, not before. Rooms must be vacated by 11 AM. (For hygiene and safety reasons, rooms are stripped of their furniture, disinfected, vacuumed, cleaned, and returned to their original condition for our next guests after each departure.)

Each room has private access with direct access to the outside. Breakfast is served in the dining room with a fully equipped, covered barbecue available for guests. (Condiments not included, except salt and pepper)

For hygiene reasons, no food or food waste is allowed in the rooms, and animals are not permitted. (Storage and cooling facilities are available in the barbecue area).

You are renting specific rooms in a private house, so please let us know your arrival time as early and accurately as possible so that we can welcome you and be there when you arrive.

Nelson is becoming an "expert" on hiking and leisure activities, and he is always happy to give advice and help.

Surfing equipment, diving equipment, and other sports equipment are no longer permitted in the rooms. (There is a table outside for storing your sports equipment.)

Above-ground swimming pool, 17,000 liters, unheated - sand filter. Accessible from the beginning of May to the end of October. (Closed afterwards)

In order to comply with the obligations related to the Foreigners Service (SEF), each visitor is asked to fill out an information sheet which they must present to this service.

P.S.: 1) Please note that the calendar algorithm only allows two people per room. If you plan to share the room with more than three people (including a child), the algorithm will default to showing occupied rooms! Because you exceed the number of people per room, please feel free to contact us!

2) To identify genuine guesthouses in Portugal, they must obtain their license/AL number and display it on all official advertising materials. You can verify this on the official website "TURISMO DE PORTUGAL" https://www.turismodeportugal.pt/pt/Paginas/homepage.aspx under "Services" then "National Tourism Registry – RNT". On the new page that opens https://rnt.turismodeportugal.pt/RNT/_default.aspx, open "Local Accommodation". In the "Registration Number" section at the top left, enter the AL number – or the name of the guesthouse whose authenticity you wish to verify.

To avoid any accidents when using the machines, we offer you the possibility of washing your laundry ourselves for €5 per machine, maximum 5 kg, and for the tumble dryer for €5, maximum 5 kg.

Booking sites like AIRBNB, BOOKING, and others sell our rooms at a slightly higher price and charge us increasingly higher commissions (around 20%), so when you book here you contribute to the sustainability of our business and instead of giving that 20% to AIRBNB, BOOKING, and other companies, we can more easily reinvest those sums in amenities for your comfort!

For cost reasons and to expedite payment, we recommend that our customers pay by bank transfer. However, other payment methods remain available on our website via the STRIPE or VISA/MasterCard application.
